The Soneium Discord & Guild

The Soneium community primarily lives on Discord—our central hub for support, feedback, announcements, bug reports, and daily activities like gaming sessions. To ensure a high-quality experience and filter out bots or bad actors, we've introduced a gateway server that all new users must pass through before accessing the main community space.

To onboard, you'll complete the Soneian Internship, our lighthearted initiation process. Simply reach Level 3 in the Gateway server by interacting with posts and other users. Once completed, you’ll be automatically invited to the Soneium Main server, where the full community experience awaits.

Progress through the internship by using the Soneium Guild to track your roles—from Soneian Intern, to Internship Survivor, and finally, Soneian Boss.

Choose Your Path

You’ve made it to the heart of the community. Now that you're in, it's time to take the next step by exploring the roles that shape Soneium’s future. There are two main paths available, each offering unique ways to contribute and grow.

  • Soneian Starters and Soneian Primes
  • Soneian Creators

Understanding these groups and the roles within them can help you decide how best to contribute and which Soneium main server roles to aim for.

Soneian Primes

Soneian Primes play a key role in the community by offering guidance, protection, knowledge sharing, and driving improvements.

But before you can rise to a Prime role, you must first walk the path through the Starter roles. Community members begin by claiming the first of the roles named Soneian Prospect via our Soneian Starter roles on Guild.

This role signals your interest in growing and safeguarding the Soneium community. It also allows us to identify and keep eyes on emerging contributors with leadership potential.

  • Prospect → Trainee: After about one month of consistent engagement, Scouts and core contributors will vote on which Prospects are ready to advance.
  • Trainee → Seeker: Another month of activity, presence, and contribution leads to another vote—this time determining your readiness for the Seeker role.
  • Seeker → Scout: Once you’ve reached Seeker, you’re eligible to be selected by current Scouts during monthly reviews to officially join the Scout team.

Once a user attains the Seeker role, the journey unfolds. There are three types of Primes, each building upon the previous.

Note: Each Prime role has a max of 12 ranks (1.0 → 12.0). A rank can be earned each month by remaining active. This is voted on by the current group of Soneian Cores.

Scouts

The Scout role is given to users who are usually the first greeters and alarm ringers within the community. Not only do they have a good sense of the liveliness of the Discord server, but they also know how to address the common pain points experienced by newcomers. They tend to users by ensuring they have the correct resources, and safely guide them when exploring the Soneium ecosystem.

Actions to Earn This Role:

  • Greet newcomers and direct them to the right channels or resources.
  • Troubleshoot basic issues and answer common questions.
  • Participate and assist with activities like games, events, and discussions.

Note: Current Scouts and other Prime roles periodically discuss and vote on which users should receive the Scout role. This discussion happens 1-2 times a month and in the private channel dedicated to Prime roles. There is currently no set limit on how many Scouts there can be.

Ideal Traits: Approachable, level headed, and sincere about community building.

Guardians

A role earned by starting as a Scout and demonstrating dedication, technical know-how, and a commitment to the server. Guardians are trusted members who act as connectors within the community. They use their technical knowledge to assist with help tickets, take the lead in organizing and managing approved activities, and keep the community engaged and running smoothly.

Responsibilities: Provide accurate troubleshooting support in the ticketing system Support the team in moderating and managing the Discord server Organize and lead approved activities

Note: The Soneium core contributors are responsible for extending this role to Scouts if they see a need for it. Depending on the size, rate of growth, and liveliness of the community, more or less Guardians could be needed.

Ideal Traits: Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, proactive in problem-solving.

Cores

Cores are the heart of Soneium. They are versatile leaders shaped by experience, trust, and initiative. They begin their journey as Scouts, proving themselves through consistent contribution and a sharp understanding of the community’s pulse. As Cores, they orchestrate activity across different areas: planning events, resolving challenges, building bridges between members, and sparking momentum both online and IRL. Equal parts strategist, creator, and connector, a Core doesn’t just support the community, they energize it.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute and suggest actionable strategies for community growth.
  • Produce high-quality content for both new and experienced users.
  • Measure the impact of implemented ideas and provide feedback to the Soneium team.
  • Research and analyze how other web3 teams approach community building to inform and inspire Soneium’s efforts.
  • Act as a bridge between the community and the core contributors by sharing insights and facilitating discussions.

Note: The Soneium core contributors are responsible for extending this role to active Scouts and/or Guardians, if they see the need for it. Depending on the size, rate of growth, and liveliness of the community, more or less Cores could be needed.

Ideal Traits: Experienced, strategic, clear communicator, content creator, and impact-driven.

Soneian Creators

The Creator roles are composed of artists, writers, gamers, entertainers, and other creatives who share their talents and contribute unique works that enrich the community. They are the heart of creativity, bringing ideas to life and inspiring others through their craft. These roles are handed out monthly as users demonstrate their creativity in their own ways in the Soneium Discord (main server). Soneian Creators have access to an exclusive forum channel where they can post their creations and get recognition for their efforts.

Note: Each role has a max of three rankings (1.0 → 3.0). Initially, Soneian Primes (Scouts, Guardians, and Cores) will decide who receives higher ranks on a monthly basis, but will eventually be an endeavor by Soneian Creators when enough active creators have been onboarded.

Soneian Codex

These are the storytellers and chroniclers of Soneium, crafting narratives that inform, inspire, and entertain. From original stories and insightful journalism to reporting community highlights, these talented writers bring the Soneium world to life with their words.

They create their own projects, help others troubleshoot, and actively contribute to the technical growth of the community. Whether they’re shipping tools, answering questions, or mentoring fellow builders, Ciphers turn ideas into motion.

  • Contribute to Projects: Collaborate on shared tools, libraries, or experiments shaping Soneium’s future.
  • Share Tech Knowledge: Publish guides, code snippets, or deep dives that make complex ideas more accessible.

Where Do I Post My Contributions and When Do I Get A Role?

Be sure to join the Soneium Discord Main server after going through the Soneium Gate server. In the main server you’ll find designated channels where you can begin to post your art, creations, threads, discussion topics, updates, and more. Once posted our team and current Scouts, Guardians and Cores will be on the lookout for quality content. From there they’ll periodically and collectively discuss and vote on whom to extend the Scout and other Creator roles to.

This program is a framework for what’s possible when talent meets intention.

Whether you're here to build, create, or guide - the next era of Soneium is shaped by those who show up. We’re ready when you are.

FAQ: Soneian Community Program

How do I join the program?

Start by visiting our Soneium Guild page to begin your onboarding. You'll be asked to join the Soneium Gateway server and complete the onboarding phase by reaching Level 3, after which you’ll gain access to the Soneium Official server and be eligible for roles and tasks.

Why do I need to reach Level 3 in the Gateway server?

This helps us ensure that those entering the Main server are real, engaged users. It filters out bots, spammers, and malicious actors, helping keep the Soneium experience high-quality and authentic.

What are the Prime Roles?

Prime Roles are for users who want to help protect, guide, and support the community. You’ll start as a Prospect, then can advance to Trainee, Seeker, and eventually Scout based on consistent activity and community involvement.

How do I move up through the Prime Roles?

Promotion is based on time, contribution, and review by the Scout team. Each stage typically takes about a month of active participation. Advancement is not automatic,it’s earned and voted on by trusted contributors.

What are the Creator Roles?

Creator Roles are for users contributing creatively to the Soneium ecosystem. These include artists, developers, storytellers, and other builders. Roles like Cipher, Chroma, and Codex reflect different types of creative input.

Can I be both a Prime and a Creator?

Yes. While the roles are structured into distinct paths, users are welcome to engage in both tracks if they contribute meaningfully across multiple areas.

How are contributions tracked?

We use the combination of our Soneium Discord and our Soneium Guild to track roles and contributions. Our team, composed of Scouts, Guardians and Cores, are frequently checking in on all fronts to engage with contributing community members.

Will there be rewards or recognition?

Yes. Roles often unlock access to exclusive content, privileges, events, contests, and other opportunities. For Creators, contests and showcases will run regularly. For Primes, increased responsibilities come with visibility and trust within the ecosystem. There is more planned on the horizon.

Is there a deadline to join the program or start the path?

No, the program is ongoing and open to all community members at any time. However, some contests or opportunities may be time-sensitive.

Do I need to be technical or creative to participate?

Not at all. The program is designed for all types of contributors, from community organizers to artists, writers, developers, and even gamers.

How are promotions or role nominations decided?

Promotions are reviewed by the Scout team and core contributors, based on your engagement, consistency, and contributions. Community input and visibility also play a role.

Can I lose a role once I’ve earned it?

Yes, in rare cases. Roles can be revoked if a user violates community guidelines, becomes inactive over an extended period, or is found to be exploiting the system.

How do I stand out or get noticed?

Be active, consistent, and helpful. Share ideas, create value, and engage with others authentically. The more visible your effort, the more likely you are to be nominated or recognized.

Are there team-based or collaborative tasks?

Yes, especially within Creator roles and event-based missions. Collaboration is encouraged, and we plan to introduce more team challenges over time.

Will Prime or Creator roles lead to official opportunities or partnerships?

Potentially. Outstanding contributors may be invited into deeper collaboration with the core team, offered spotlight features, or tapped for future roles.

Do I need a wallet or to complete any onchain tasks to participate?

A wallet may be required to verify certain actions via our Soneium Guild, but most initial roles and progression paths are based on Discord activity and contribution.

Is this the ambassador program?

Not exactly. While some aspects may feel similar, like representing the community and helping it grow, the Soneian Community Program is broader and more flexible. It's designed to support all kinds of contributors, not just promoters or outreach-focused members.

Will I get paid for participating?

There are no guaranteed payments. However, active contributors may receive rewards through campaigns, contests, collaborations, or special opportunities. The focus is on organic contribution, recognition, and unlocking future roles, some of which may lead to deeper involvement later on.

Can I be part of other ecosystems or chains?

Absolutely. We welcome multi-chain contributors. Soneium is built on openness and interoperability. As long as you're genuine in your contributions here, you're free to engage with other ecosystems too.
