Bridge funds to Soneium

This page explains how to choose a bridge based on where your funds are today, how the recommended bridges compare on supported assets, fees and arrival time, and what to check before you send. Each recommended bridge also has a step-by-step guide:

Gas on Soneium is paid in ETH

If you bridge only stablecoins to a self-custodial wallet such as MetaMask, bring some ETH as well. The Startale App is the exception: it pays gas for your Startale Account on Soneium, so you’ll be able to move your funds freely. Startale operates this sponsorship and its rules can change over time.

USDC on Soneium is bridged USDC, listed as USDC.e (0xbA9986D2381edf1DA03B0B9c1f8b00dc4AacC369). Bridging USDC with the Startale App or Stargate delivers USDC.e. If a bridge does not list USDC for Soneium, search for USDC.e instead.

Bridge safely​

  • Open bridges from a trusted link, such as the bridges page on soneium.org or the bridge's official website. Avoid links shared in DMs, replies or ads.
  • Never share your recovery phrase. No bridge, wallet or support team will ask for it.
  • Send a small amount first on any route you have not used before.
  • Check the source network, destination network, token and receiving address before you sign.
  • Keep gas on the source network to pay for the transfer itself.

Troubleshooting​

  • My funds have not arrived: Check the bridge's activity or history page first, since it shows which step the transfer is on. You can also search the transaction hash on Blockscout. For Stargate, use LayerZero Scan.
  • The bridge shows the transfer as complete, but my wallet shows nothing: Switch your wallet to Soneium. If the balance is still missing, import the token with its contract address from Blockscout.
  • I sent funds on the wrong network or to the wrong address: Contact the support team of the bridge or app you used, with your transaction hash. For the Startale App, see Startale App troubleshooting.
