Using Soneium with your Wallet
There are two ways to hold funds and use apps on Soneium. You can use the Startale App, which is ready for Soneium from your first sign-in, or add the network to a wallet you already use, such as MetaMask. If you are new to crypto, start with the Startale App.
Startale App
The Startale App is a wallet and app hub built for Soneium. When you sign in, it creates a Startale Account for you, a smart account that already works on Soneium. There is no network to configure.
What the Startale App handles for you:
- Network fees. The app pays gas for your Startale Account on Soneium, so you can start without holding ETH. Startale operates this sponsorship and its rules can change over time.
- Getting funds in. You can deposit from 14 networks or withdraw from an exchange, and the app bridges the funds to Soneium automatically.
- Buying crypto. You can buy ETH with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, through Transak.
- Finding apps. Apps on Soneium open inside the Startale App, so you can use them without connecting a wallet each time.
To get started:
- Sign in at app.startale.com. Your Startale Account is created on your first sign-in.
- Fund your account from another network, an exchange or a card. Bridge with the Startale App walks through each option.
- Open an app from the Startale App and make your first transaction.

Other wallets
Any EVM-compatible wallet can connect to Soneium once you add it as a network. You enter the network details below once, and after that you switch to Soneium from the wallet's network menu.
MetaMask
To add Soneium as a custom network to MetaMask:
- Open the MetaMask browser extension.
- Open the network selection dropdown menu by clicking the dropdown button at the top of the extension.
- Click the Add Network button.
- Click Add a Network Manually.
- In the Add a Network Manually dialog that appears, enter the following information:

- Soneium Minato (Testnet)

- Tap the Save button to save Soneium as a network.
You should now be able to connect to Soneium by selecting it from the network selection dropdown menu.
